I had a great workout at Planet Fitness this evening. While improving my physical health, I listened to John C. Maxwell’s audiobook titled, “The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership (25th Anniversary Edition). The concept of investing popped into my mind. I stopped to journal my thoughts while they were fresh. It occurred to me that the most valuable investment we can make is in ourselves. I’m excited about the opportunities to invest in my growth and development for the remainder of 2022 and 2023, because of the financial freedom resulting from sacrifice, discipline, and determination. I can now say “yes” to opportunities to network with the best and brightest entrepreneurs, business owners, and leaders. We can accelerate our growth exponentially by learning from others. I recently listened to the Earn Your Leisure podcast by co-founders Rashad Bilal and Troy Millings. I just watched a live ZOOM session for the first time tonight. The real-world knowledge and experience is awesome. Financial literacy is a movement!
